Help Shape the Future of Crystal Recreation
Posted on 05/26/2026
The Crystal Recreation Department has launched a community-wide Recreation Needs Assessment Survey, giving participants of all ages the opportunity to help shape the future of local programming, events and services.

The survey is designed to gather feedback on current recreation offerings, identify barriers that may prevent participation, and spark new community opportunities. Whether participants are frequent park users, partake occasionally or have never enrolled in a class, all feedback is welcome and will help ensure city resources are prioritized effectively.

"The information we collect will serve as a vital roadmap for our future planning and resource prioritization," said Crystal Recreation Services Manager Michelle Margo. "We want to develop programs and events that truly reflect the diverse interests, busy schedules, and evolving needs of our entire community.”

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and will remain open through Aug. 16. Feedback gathered will help guide strategic planning and future recreational investments while ensuring the city’s offerings continue to enhance quality of life for users of all ages.

Residents can access the survey at go.crystalmn.gov/needs.
